Only for the Ext2/Ext3/Ext4 FS file system used in the Linux OS and several Unixes. Thus useless for FAT32 on SD cards for example, which you use for cameras etc.

What is R-Linux?

R-Linux is a free file recovery utility specifically designed for the Ext2/Ext3/Ext4 FS file system, which is commonly used in the Linux OS and several Unix-based systems. It employs the same IntelligentScan technology found in R-Studio, and its flexible parameter settings are designed to deliver fast and reliable file recovery on the Linux platform. However, unlike R-Studio, R-Linux does not have the capability to recover data over a network, reconstruct RAIDs, or provide object copy.

The software comes in two versions: one for Linux and the other for Windows. Both versions offer identical features, with the only difference being the host operating system they are designed to run on. This means that users can choose the version that best matches their operating environment, whether it's Linux or Windows.
