Use global hotkeys, good to get items available in every program. Lists of items appear after hotkey click, user can select the required item to use. Enables long lists of items to select (for example symbols for scientific writing). One star off due to a bit time consuming start... not really difficult, but need to read instructions :)

Uses GLOBAL hot-keys for ALL text insertions and commands. Each floating menu is run by its dedicated (custom) global hotkeys-combo. Floating menu-lists popup anywhere on the desktop, then items are fired by left-click There is no quick reference list - select & click ... sadly QTP is entirely hot-key-combos driven. You will need a good memory or create a cheat sheet for referencing.

If you use a significant number of GLOBAL hot-keys already (as I do) ... QTP might not be a good choice.

Steep learning curve for date time formats ... (it was for me) Not for late night configering ... strong coffee and a good nights sleep, first.
