Comments and Reviews
If you want to replace the flawed Gallery app, this is perfect. It loads fast, it can move files around, and it actually has some settings you can change. It does everything that Gallery does, and more.
I still use Quickpic because I have kept the last version of the app before being bought by Cheetah Mobile, the china based spyware company focused primarily on gathering behavioral, analytical, and statistical data from the users of their suite of apps available in the google play store for the purposes of selling to advertisers...you know, the people who litter our devices with useless banner ads. As if it isn't enough that google does the same. Many people don't mind this but I feel it's important for people to realize the absurd extent of this invasive business they're in. If you've ever taken the time to analyze the background behavior of these apps, you'd know exactly what I mean. Don't use Cheetah Mobile apps.
Wonderful app. I am using it during 8 years. Can't believe it's discontinued...
Because QuickPic have sort by order in names, can choose view mode in grid, stack and list, also can view like explorer on PC. QuickPic have features not like other Gallery app have, like Add New Folder, can Show Hidden Folders, can Hide Folders with Photos without moving it (just only add .nomedia file to that folders), can count how many images on that folders. Also when we want to view a image, we can see detail of that image below. I Love it because it fast to reload All thumbnails images without waiting
Was really disappointed with the lack of updates, then when I went into the reviews section on Google Play I realised just why it was hogging up so much of my phone.
A damn shame as I'd been using for over a decade and it was my go-to gallery app. Luckily Simple Gallery has picked up where Quickpic left off it seems

UPDATE 2021: No longer
Seeing how far QuickPic has fallen really sucks. This app used to be THE BEST gallery app bar none, then Cheeta Mobile happened, and that was the end. There is currently a modded version somewhere that has some spyware removed. Unfortunately on later versions of Android it has a bug which causes the text in gallery to be pink.
