To continue. I have tried to reach the creators listed on the Apple apps support link and got no reply. Changed security rights for the application with no success on getting working. I believe that the developer have moved on to other projects
There is a new 2.0 version that is much improved and works on Catalina and above. Take a look at https://quicklens.app. Its already live on the Mac App Store.
