What is QuickHashGUI?
Linux, Windows, and Apple Mac GUI that enables rapid selection & hashing of files (individually or recursively), text and physical disks. Designed for Linux, but also available for Windows and now Apple Mac. MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512 available. CSV\HTML\Clipboard output. Useful for verifying hashes of downloaded ISOs like Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora etc.
A source directory can be hashed, then copied & reconstructed to a destination folder where the content is then hashed again (verification).

Comments and Reviews
Quick Hash unlike other hashing software lets you compare folders to see if the folders are the same. This is useful if you make backups and want to confirm that the files are in order. With other software you have to go into the folder and one by one check each file in the folder. This program saves you time so you don't have to deal with that, and its open source and works for Windows, Linux and Mac. The only problem with it is if you have gigabytes of files its very slow for verifying large amounts of files in folders, otherwise 5 stars for the easy to use GUI.
