What is Quantive?
Quantive is a personal net-worth tracker that encrypts your portfolio in your browser before it reaches the server. The server stores only ciphertext; a passive database leak reveals no portfolio contents. (Active server compromise is a documented non-goal - the same caveat applies to Bitwarden, ProtonMail, Standard Notes.) The encryption uses XChaCha20-Poly1305 with Argon2id key derivation; the crypto module is open source under MIT.
There is no bank connection. Users upload Excel exports from their bank, or enter balances manually. Plaid, Finicity, MX, Tink, and PSD2 providers are not in the trust chain because they're not in the chain at all.
The product covers allocation charts (by volatility type and liquidity), time-series history, CAGR-based forecasting with 95% confidence intervals, and 13 currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, NOK, SEK, DKK, CHF, CAD, AUD, JPY, PLN, BRL, INR) with historically correct FX. A balance from years ago is valued at the rate from that day, not retroactively rewritten.
Quantive does not budget, categorise transactions, or track tax-account-specific logic. It is a wealth tracker, not a spending tool.
Free tier is permanent. Pro is €9/month or €90/year.
