This is by far my favourite DNS at the moment, its power blocking trackers and ads is almost one to one to AdGuard & allows me to go to my Country's ISR webpage which AdGuard blocks. probably because the ISR's webpage has poor or the lack of certificates but Quad9 does the job amazingly without those compromises.

What is Quad9?
Quad9 is a free, recursive, anycast DNS platform that provides end users robust security protections, high-performance, and privacy.
Security: Quad9 blocks against known malicious domains, preventing your computers and IoT devices from connecting malware or phishing sites
Performance: Quad9 systems are distributed worldwide in more than 70 locations at launch, with more than 160 locations in total on schedule for 2018.
Privacy: No personally-identifiable information is collected by the system. IP addresses of end users are not stored to disk or distributed outside of the equipment answering the query in the local data center. Quad9 is a not-for-profit organization dedicated only to the operation of DNS services. There are no other secondary revenue streams for personally-identifiable data, and the core charter of the organization is to provide secure, fast, private DNS.

"Quad9 blocks only sites that present a danger to the end user, their equipment, or the network. Quad9 does not block content, and the agreements with threat intelligence providers stipulate that the criteria for blocking be exclusively security-related and not based on other categories."

I was really liking my NextDNS, but it seemed to conflict w/PortMaster, so I decided to choose between their options and choose Quad9. Quad9 is Swiss, and the Swiss privacy laws are great.
Lately I discovered than Quad9 do a better business to protect you than paid service like Cisco Umbrella and DNSFilter (ref: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imlFubYv8YY) It is also almost as fast than Google DNS which do nothing to protect you and probably spy on your query.
was a bit faster than google though , and the no logs beats google , but not fast enough for me in the uk ..
