What is Qaltex?
Qaltex is a tape-like calculator with straightforward interface and a lot of features.
It is inspired by many other similar applications, but solves their disadvantages and at the same time it is empowered with some unique options and widgets.
Qaltex is distributed as a standalone Windows application. This means fast start, no resource heavy usage of RAM and/or CPU and there is no need to start some complex IDEs like Visual Studio Code or Eclipse or web browser to calculate some results.

Works offline = 🌟 Portable = 🌟 Has Dark Mode = 🌟 Can handle variables = 🌟 Subtotal, total, subaverage, subcount all work Properly = 🌟 Does not use CPU while minimized = 🌟 Uses reasonable amount of RAM [5~10MB on average] = 🌟 Works on high DPI [28" @4k 200dpi] = 🌟
The only true downside I've found is that the program Icon doesn't look great on the taskbar, otherwise this is the best math pad I've ever used.
It also like all other math pads doesn't appear to come with native tray icons and hotkeys to launch it, but I already have AHK scripts setup for the last one...

Really lightweight — sub 20mb ram usage. Quite a lot of functions, can work with variables and charts. At the same time, an excellent minimal design Unfortunately, I didn’t find any good analogues among Open Source. But it's too well done to ignore
