What is PVdesignEYA?

PVdesignEYA is a free web app for designing solar PV systems, from ground-mounted plants to residential rooftops. Draw the site boundary on a satellite map and it lays out modules, structures and strings automatically, follows real 3D terrain, calculates per-module shading from trees and buildings, and estimates energy yield with PVGIS weather data and a PVsyst-style loss diagram. The result is an A4 energy yield and layout report. Several zones of one plant can be designed together. No install needed. Currently in beta.
