What is ProntoFax?

ProntoFax is a pay-per-fax service for people who need to send one fax, not subscribe to a fax service. There is no account to create and no monthly plan: you pay a flat $2.99 for the fax you send, and that is the whole relationship.

It works from the phone in your pocket. Take a photo of your paper document with your camera, or upload a PDF or image, and ProntoFax cleans it up, straightens it, and converts it to a crisp fax-ready page. You can add an optional cover page, preview every page before anything goes out, and the fax line is validated before you pay. One fax covers up to 25 pages, including the cover page.

Payment is only captured after your fax is delivered. If it does not go through, you are not charged. Once delivered, you get an email receipt with a copy of exactly what was sent, so you have a record of what went out and when.

ProntoFax is send-only (it does not receive faxes) and runs entirely in the browser, so there is no app to install. The whole flow, in English or Spanish, takes about two minutes: it is built for the moment when the IRS, a court clerk, an insurer, or a records office says "fax it to us" and you just want it handled.
