I like the idea, but it doesn't block anything with the gui on Windows, even selecting most filters.

After a brief time with the software (running on Windows), I have determined the following:

  • it can sufficiently block ads and other undesirable content
  • it is only accessible to localhost, and therefore loses the benefit of being a network service

The author of the service will need to resolve this before I can write a proper, in-depth review. I can't review a proxy server that is only accessible to the host running the server :(
