Pratsam Reader Win

The Reader Win player supports DAISY 2.02 and DAISY Online.

Pratsam Reader Win features a voice-based user interface and feedback is given to the user via audio prompts. Only a keyboard is needed to control the software program. As such, users do not need a separate screen reader to use the app.

It is possible to configure Pratsam Reader Win to automatically start up when a computer is turned on. Because playback is streamed, an accessible book can be played immediately once opened.

Flexible user interface

Pratsam Reader Win can be customized to suit various needs: for example, larger text or buttons. It is also possible to make the user interface clearer, by turning on the “High Contrast” mode/setting.

Pratsam Reader Win can be controlled by a standard computer keyboard. A map of the shortcut keys is available in the help section, which also has an audio guide. The app can also be used with a touch-sensitive screen.

Supports DAISY 2.02 and DAISY Online

Daisy logoPratsam Mobile supports the DAISY 2.02 standard (all types with "Full audio") for accessible digital books. The player also supports DAISY Online Delivery Protocol 1.0.
