PortProof

 Like

PortProof reads a profile of source, target, port, and protocol rows, probes each declared path once, and returns a pass or fail matrix with HTML, CSV, and JSON reports. Exit code 0 means every required row passed, so a change window or scheduled task can gate on it.

What is PortProof?

PortProof reads a profile of source, target, port, and protocol rows, probes each declared path once, and returns a pass or fail matrix with HTML, CSV, and JSON reports. Exit code 0 means every required row passed, so a change window or scheduled task can gate on it. It makes full TCP connects only, sends one zero-length UDP datagram per UDP row, and never scans ranges or discovers hosts. Bundled profiles cover Active Directory, SQL Server, and RDP with WinRM, each row traced to Microsoft documentation. Runs on Windows PowerShell 5.1 or PowerShell 7.4 and later.
