Installed it and haven't seen any pop up since.

uBlock Origin + Poper Blocker... Twogether are almost invincible!

**Pros**
- Excellent popups blocking.

**Cons**
- Not open source
- We do not know what data is collecting and how it is using.

**Sad fact**
There are no alternatives between other extensions (:
uBlock does not handle what this extension does.
