Pomatez

Pomatez is a multi-platform desktop application designed for individuals who utilize the Pomodoro technique. The application offers a range of features that can be customized according to user preference, including the ability to modify the default Pomodoro configuration. Users can create a task list within the application, marking off completed tasks as they progress. One notable feature of Pomatez is the full-screen break functionality, which prevents users from continuing work during break times by occupying the entire desktop screen. However, it currently does not support multiple monitors.

The application also includes a desktop notification feature, which delivers periodic alerts based on the chosen notification type. Users can schedule special breaks for meals or other important activities without altering the Pomodoro configuration. While the keyboard shortcuts are not currently customizable, they may prove useful depending on user needs. The application automatically checks for and downloads updates, notifying the user when an update is ready for installation.

Additional features of Pomatez include the ability to remain on top of other running apps, minimize or close to the system tray, and display a progress indicator on the system tray. Users can also toggle between the application's custom title bar and the native one provided by the operating system. The application includes a dark theme for users with light sensitivity, a strict mode that enforces user-set rules, and a compact mode for users with smaller screens. The auto-start work time and voice assistance features further enhance the user experience by automating the work timer and providing voice notifications, respectively.
