What is PlanMan?

PlanMan is project and portfolio management that runs in your browser and keeps your data on your own machine. No account, no cloud, no server. Whatever you put in stays with you. That matters most if you work somewhere your project data isn't allowed to sit in someone else's cloud — banks, insurers, hospitals, government. If data residency rules or internal security policies have ever killed a tool for you, this is built for exactly that situation. And if you just don't like the idea of your plans living on a vendor's servers, that works too. What you get:

Gantt planning with phases, milestones and dependencies, plus a working calendar that knows about your holidays and change-freeze periods A dashboard showing RAG status and health across all your projects, so you're not opening ten files to see where things stand Sprint boards, with CSV import if you're moving off something else Resource planning to see who's on what Read-only snapshots you can send to your boss or team without giving them access to your live data

A few things that make it different from the usual suspects:

It actually works offline. No connection needed, nothing gets uploaded. No sign-up. Open it and start. You buy it once. No monthly fee, no per-seat pricing. Nothing to install and no server to babysit — it's just browser files.

It's aimed at project managers and small teams who need proper planning and governance but don't want enterprise bloat, subscriptions, or the awkward conversation about where their data is going.
