Well... It's OK for what it does. In fact, it works pretty much flawlessly on Pixel phones, animations and all. But since this is Google's launcher and Google's Android, it still worries me privacy-wise. Exodus didn't find trackers in it; just a handful of permissions (but that doesn't mean there aren't any trackers in the launcher either, so I wouldn't hold my breath). I will say that you can't remove the Google search bar, so it'll be useless if you have the Google app disabled or...

Well... It's OK for what it does. In fact, it works pretty much flawlessly on Pixel phones, animations and all. But since this is Google's launcher and Google's Android, it still worries me privacy-wise. Exodus didn't find trackers in it; just a handful of permissions (but that doesn't mean there aren't any trackers in the launcher either, so I wouldn't hold my breath). I will say that you can't remove the Google search bar, so it'll be useless if you have the Google app disabled or uninstalled.
There are FOSS third-party launchers that can match Google's quality (maybe even do better), like KISS, Lawnchair, and Fossify if you happen to go an extra step in de-Googling your phone, though at the cost of working animations and all. And I can't uninstall the Pixel Launcher because doing so would break the gesture navigation (you can't switch apps easily).
