Piggydb is a Web notebook application that provides you with a platform to build your knowledge personally or collaboratively. With Piggydb, you can create highly structured content by connecting knowledge fragments to each other to build a network structure, which is more flexible and expressive than a tree structure. Fragments can also be classified using hierarchical tags.
Piggydb does not aim to be an input-and-search database application. It aims to be a platform that encourages you to organize your knowledge continuously to discover new ideas or concepts, and moreover enrich your creativity.

It does support images, actually any file, the feature is not available though on the public sandbox probably for security reasons.
The installation has now been simplified to resonate with any windows application. Just unzip and run the exe...its a snap.

Piggydb offers many Evernote features, including tags, search, and a similar interface. The only problem is that it's difficult to install and run.
For installation instructions, download and extract the Piggydb zip file, and check out readme.txt.
If Piggydb developers made it simple to install, this would be a killer app.
What is the difficulty installing? 1- Download Piggydb. 2- Unzip the file to a folder of your choice. 3- Open that folder and click the file with the Piggydb icon. 4- Piggydb opens automatically in your default browser. 5- Change your password. 6- Start writing.
