What is Pictag.IO?
Pictag.IO is a photo delivery tool for conferences and events that doesn't use face recognition. Instead of scanning people's faces, it reads a small printed code on each attendee's badge. Photographers shoot the crowd like they normally would, and every person gets their own pictures back through a private link tied to their badge.
No biometric data. No face scans. No faces stored, processed, or sent to a third-party vision API. The only thing the system ever looks at is a printed code on a piece of paper that the attendee can take off whenever they want. If someone doesn't want to be matched, they flip their badge around. That's it.
It's built for organizers who want to hand out event photos as a perk without turning their attendee list into a privacy problem. Works for tech conferences, trade shows, corporate offsites, academic events, and anywhere people wear a lanyard.
