Photo Enclave

Photo Enclave is a private photo and video vault that works entirely offline. Photos and videos are stored inside the app in an encrypted format, separate from the system gallery, and never leave the device unless you export them. There is no account, no server and no cloud sync.

Main features

• Encrypted local storage for photos and videos, organized into albums.
• Import from the system gallery, or capture directly with the built-in camera so files never touch the gallery.
• Encrypted export: pack files into password-protected .spl files for sharing or long-term backup. These files open on both the iOS and Android versions.
• Optional export to standard image and video formats.
• Backup and restore of your vault.
• App lock with a pattern or password, plus biometric unlock (Face ID / Touch ID on iOS, fingerprint on Android).
• Disguise mode: the app can open to a working calculator, notepad or sketch pad and use an alternate icon (on Android the app name can be changed too). The real vault opens only with a hidden gesture.
• Hidden spaces ("VIP Space"): albums bound to a passphrase stay completely invisible until that passphrase is entered. Each passphrase opens its own independent space, with no limit on the number of spaces. The passphrase is cleared from memory as soon as the app goes to the background.
• Basic photo crop and rotate, and saving any video frame as a still image.
• Android: screenshots and screen recording are blocked inside the app, and it appears as a black card in the recent-apps view.

Privacy

The app has no network features and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. The Android version does not request the Internet permission at all. Passphrases and passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes, so a forgotten passphrase cannot be recovered by anyone, including the developer.
