What is PEAKTEAMS?

PEAKTEAMS is a web-based team diagnostic that measures how a team works together, rather than how satisfied individual employees are. Each member answers an anonymous 57-question survey (about 12 minutes) on a phone or laptop. Once at least five members have responded, the team gets a report with four parts:

  • Team Net Value: a 0–100 score built from 18 KPIs grouped into Input, Process and Output, reduced by a "friction" penalty for energy lost to politics, overhead and rework.
  • Team identity: one of 16 operating styles based on four dimensions (focus, structure, interaction, value creation), similar to a personality type but for teams.
  • Consensus Matrix: plots each KPI by score and by how far answers diverge, so disagreement hidden behind a decent average becomes visible.
  • One Big Thing: a single prioritized recommendation with three concrete actions, each with an owner and timeframe, produced by a rule-based engine.

Teams can re-run the survey to track change over time, and scores are placed against an early benchmark of other teams. The methodology, KPI definitions and full question bank are published openly.

PEAKTEAMS is aimed at team leads, HR and People teams who want to compare several teams on the same metric, and coaches or consultants who need before-and-after data for client work. Individual answers are never shown, and data is hosted in the EU. It is developed by Libaty GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany, and available in English and German.

PEAKTEAMS is currently free during early access with no credit card required, and a single-person team check is available without signup. Paid plans are planned.
