What is pdfnative?
Pdfnative is a next-generation PDF generation library built from the ground up in pure TypeScript. It requires zero runtime dependencies and delivers enterprise-grade PDF compliance including ISO 32000-1 (PDF/A) at four conformance levels. The library natively supports 16 Unicode scripts with full implementation of bidirectional text (UAX #9) for Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian, plus advanced OpenType shaping (GSUB/GPOS) for complex scripts like Thai and Devanagari. Features include RSA and ECDSA digital signatures, AES encryption, vector barcodes, and fine-grained control over typography, layout, and document structure. Ideal for applications requiring multilingual document generation, archival compliance, and complete control over PDF output without third-party dependencies.
