Comments and Reviews
The license status of this software is somewhat ambiguous. On different websites it's called a freeware, but the word is nowhere mentioned on the product's own page. The first few documents I converted were left with watermarks. Then, for a while, these watermarks stopped appearing, and the software proved to be an excellent tool. It converted my image-based PDFs to almost half of their initial storage size, without noticeable quality loss. Also, it offers a very convenient batch mode, with an impressive working speed. Alas, the watermarks started again, but having already been convinced about the software, I decided to buy a license.
When installing this app on Windows 7 Pro, it prompts for username/pwd then says something like "elevation needed".
I love the interface of this app. Simple and clean, without any over-the-top themes or whatnot. Essentially, what every Windows app should look like (in my opinion).
However, the app itself doesn't work as well as I'd hope. I tried compressing an 83MB PDF file, but it somehow only removed 18KB in terms of file size. Granted, the PDF was already compressed beforehand, but that's a disappointing result regardless.
