What is Passary?
Passary is a zero-trust password manager designed to keep all sensitive data stored locally on your device instead of relying on cloud servers or external sync. Vaults are encrypted with AES-256 and secured by Argon2id, and the master password never leaves the user’s machine. Passary runs directly in the browser and uses the File System Access API for fast, private, offline vault management.
There are no accounts, no telemetry, and no server-side components. Users maintain full control over their data, can create local backups, and can use Passary entirely offline. The app focuses on privacy, simplicity, and a significantly reduced attack surface compared to cloud-based password managers. Future versions will include browser extensions, mobile editions, and a self-hosted option for teams.
