Tutorials are really good
Free Version: Get 200 pages of data in only 40 minutes 200 pages per run Requires Sign Up. Acts like a browser. Tried to scrape from a site that required sign-in, wasn't able to, and couldn't get to the intended data. Tried again from the site's login page and got "Our systems have detected unusual traffic"
My team just started using Parsehub, and it's been great so far! I've been very impressed with the quality of images, the level of detail we're able to scrape, and ease of use. We ran into a lot of issues with Kimono Labs (before it was deprecated), and that was when we started looking for a replacement. We considered many different scraping technologies and after much research landed on Parsehub, and we're really glad we did!
I just started using Parsehub, and I really like it. I had to figure out a pricing strategy for a product, and I needed to scrape a lot of competitor sites to get data on their pricing. I'm not a super technical person and I found Parsehub fine to learn (the tutorials make it easy). I tried using other products like Kimono and they were simple and good for some things but they didn't work for the more complex sites I needed. I needed a product that worked well and Parsehub's been great. Definitely recommend!!
ParseHub is a great alternative to other scraping apps. It's a bit more of a learning curve but does a much better job extracting data from more complex sites with interactive and non-static websites.
ParseHub was able to get data from millions of pages, and deal with things like hidden elements, text appearing on hover only, and all sorts of scrolling pages. It is for sure very superior technically to tools like Kimono Labs and import.io and can get data from pretty much any website
