I was looking for an alternative to CITAVI, the most widely used refference tool around my campus, because I wanted to work outside, in the park or whereever, where I just had some random netbook around. I didn't look too deep, but Paperpile was the first and it seems the only app to date, that works completely without a Windows / Mac -based Desktop-programm. I tried it and it ran really smooth, integrated well with Google-docs, which I prefered to use (for the same reasons as said above) to other heavier word-processors and made it all easy. I am espescially impressed with it's automatic finding and downloading full-text pdf of most papers. A task that was tideous before.. thumbs up!
