Pallet Designer

Pallet Designer is a palletizing configuration tool for automation system integrators and manufacturing plants. Its core is a move-planning algorithm: from a layer pattern it calculates the complete robot sequence on its own - which cases the gripper picks together, where the gripper goes, and in what order the cases are placed - avoiding collisions with already placed cases and station obstacles. Nobody has to plan or teach the moves by hand.

Layer patterns, pallet stacks and mixed-product pallets are designed visually, and the whole configuration is exported straight to the machine. Starting up a new layout takes minutes instead of days of programming and commissioning.

Main features:

• Automatic robot move planning: multi-case gripping, collision-free gripper positions and placing order calculated for every layer, with a manual mode for special cases
• Automatic layer pattern optimization: fits the maximum number of cases on the pallet, marks proven optimal layouts, and builds interlocked alternating layers for stack stability
• Visual layer pattern and pallet stack designer, with labels-outward orientation and overhang control
• Mixed-product palletizing (several product variants on one pallet)

• Self-service mode: the end customer's operators or process engineers design new layouts themselves, within limits set by the integrator

Pallet Designer is used for both palletizing and depalletizing applications. Typical users are PLC/HMI and robot programmers at integrators, process engineers at plants, and packaging engineers and sales teams preparing palletizing machine offers.

Licensing: annual subscription per design seat, with team packs and a perpetual licence available. Machine integration for other control platforms is quoted by scope.
