PairCoder information
What is PairCoder?
PairCoder is the missing workflow layer for Claude Code. It's a Python CLI that adds enforcement gates, token budgeting, persistent context, and Trello integration to your Claude Code development workflow.
The core problem: Claude Code is great at writing code, but terrible at following a plan. It loses context between sessions, ignores acceptance criteria, blows through token budgets, and will edit the config files meant to constrain it. Your CLAUDE.md is a suggestion — not a rule.
PairCoder replaces hope with enforcement. Gates run in Python, outside Claude's control. The AI physically cannot close a task until acceptance criteria are verified, tests pass, and budget is within limits.
Key features:
- 200+ CLI commands for planning, execution, and review
- Python enforcement gates with strict mode and audit logging
- Token budgeting with upfront estimates and threshold warnings
- Persistent context that survives auto-compaction
- Full Trello integration from the command line
- 9 built-in skills that load contextually
- TDD and architecture enforcement
