Orbit Player

Orbit is an IPTV player for Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV. It plays the M3U playlists and Xtream Codes logins you already have from an IPTV service; it doesn't provide, sell or link to any channels.

What sets it apart is how it handles messy playlists. Orbit reads the country, category and quality out of provider group names like "|UK| SPORTS ᴴᴰ" or "UK - Sport" (around 130 countries and regions), files every channel under Country › Category, cleans up channel names, and merges duplicate channels into one, keeping the extra streams as automatic backups if one fails. Several providers can be added, with your choice of which comes first.

Also included:

• TV guide (XMLTV) with smart channel matching, catch-up where your provider offers it, reminders, and recording to the device or a USB drive
• Pause live TV, multi-view (up to four channels), picture-in-picture and frame-rate matching
• Profiles, each with its own Continue watching, My List and recommendations, kept in step on every TV signed in to your account
• One-scan setup from your phone: scan the QR code on the TV to sign in and add your provider, instead of typing with the remote
• Skip intro and Up Next for series, play in another app (VLC, MX Player), parental PIN
• 30 languages, including Arabic and Urdu with right-to-left screens

Orbit installs with the free Downloader app (code 9797120) and keeps itself up to date. It costs £1.19 a month, £2.99 every 3 months or £7.99 a year (the same amounts in € and $), with a free 12-hour trial.
