What is OpenFamily App?
OpenFamily is a self-hosted family location tracker. A Flutter app for Android and iOS talks to a Go API you host with Docker Compose on a VPS, a Synology NAS, or a machine on your LAN. Live OpenStreetMap, arrive and leave alerts, SOS / Help / Check in, child roles, invite codes, and 90-day history in your Postgres. No vendor location cloud, no analytics SDK, and no Google Play Services required on Android (UnifiedPush via ntfy). This is GPS location sharing for a household. It is not NexaFlowFrance/OpenFamily, a different project that is a family organizer for calendars, shopping, and chores, and it is not a fleet tracker like Traccar.
