Ohai is an AI household assistant built for parents who manage a family calendar, a stream of school communications and the daily running of a home. Its assistant, called O, connects to your email and calendar and works out what an incoming message actually requires, then creates the event, the reminder or the task.

It reads school notices, flyers and PDFs and pulls the dates out of them. It can find official school calendars for your area and add holidays and early dismissals. It coordinates schedules across the household, tracks to-dos, and lets members of a shared Circle pass requests to one another.

Ohai runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. There is a free tier and a paid subscription. The company was founded by Sheila Lirio Marcelo, who previously founded Care.com.
