What is Nonja?
Turn banners off in System Settings and notifications still arrive in Notification Center. Nonja reads them from there and builds a list in your menu bar, grouped by the app that sent them. Nothing appears over your work.
A filled mark means something is waiting and an outline means nothing is, so there is no unread count to chase. Clicking an item takes you to the app the notification came from, and clearing a group is one click.
It reads the notification database read-only, and nothing ever leaves the Mac. Free and open source under the MIT license, for Apple Silicon.
