nics.dev information
What is nics.dev?
nics.dev hosts the "this domain is for sale" page for domains you own. You keep the domain at your registrar and point its nameservers at ns1 and ns2.nics.dev; DNS, the HTTPS certificate and the page itself are handled from there. Every domain gets a clean page with your price, a short pitch and a make-offer or buy-now form.
Offers arrive in your inbox through a private relay, so neither side has to publish an email address. You accept, counter or decline from a small portal, and the close is handed to a third-party escrow service. The portal shows human versus bot traffic per domain, measured server side with no tracking scripts, and a market estimate for every name.
The pages carry no advertising, no third-party scripts and no "related searches". Every visitor sees identical HTML, which is what keeps a for-sale page from being treated like spam parking. There is also a free appraisal tool at nics.dev/worth that works for any domain, listed or not. Free while in beta; the plan is a small success fee on sales, never ads. Built and hosted in the EU.
