They actually work I was able to go online with my ryujinx emulator you have to use their fork of ryujinx. I was even able to get my Switch to sign into my account. It really blows my mind. my only issue is that they refused to accept my request of not requiring discord verification. i hate Discord and I want nothing to do with the app. Is what it is. Perhaps enough support for the request will get them to make the move.

Nextendo Network information
What is Nextendo Network?
Nextendo Network is a free, community-run independent online service that reimplements the multiplayer infrastructure for select Nintendo Switch games. It provides account authentication, friend codes, presence, matchmaking, and peer-to-peer connectivity so players can continue enjoying online multiplayer without relying on Nintendo’s official servers.
It works with a customized build of the open-source Ryujinx emulator (Ryujinx-Nextendo) and, on real hardware, with custom firmware (CFW) consoles via the Prelude homebrew application. Games themselves are not modified — the client transparently redirects the game’s online hostnames to Nextendo’s servers. Currently supported titles include:
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (worldwide races, in-game lobbies) Splatoon 2 (Turf War, private battles, Salmon Run, Splatfests) Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (online arenas)
Additional games are in development.
Key features:
Free Nextendo account with a permanent friend code usable across supported titles and devices (emulator and real Switch) Cross-play between PC (Ryujinx) and real CFW Switches on the same network Privacy-focused design: no Nintendo account required, no tracking, no ads Completely separate from Nintendo’s services — it does not restore access to official Nintendo Switch Online, the eShop, or Nintendo’s servers Open, non-profit community project
Nextendo Network is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Nintendo. All product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners. Users are responsible for owning legitimate copies of any games they play.
