It might be useful in some cases to have a browser-based FTP solution. There is no real need for me, but I liked to test this software, and I found that net2ftp is easy to install. It is written in PHP, so it will run on any standard web host.
You can edit text files directly on the FTP server, which is a feature I like very much. Unfortunately, there’s something wrong with viewing pictures, this doesn’t work in my case.
A big disadvantage is that you can’t change the settings of the start page, at least I did not find them. At every visit I have to switch from the basic login window to the extended one with secure login options.
