    Mostly energy based combat system compared to Nation States which is about governmental decisions with no combat at all.

    eRepublik used to be more focused on politics, but the developers have focused solely on the war and fighting modules for years now, as that is the easiest one to monetize. There is little to no politics, and the big spenders dominate the game.
