Have you noticed how the client and the sales manager of the clothing company coordinate the order?
Not always, but often and even in large enterprises, the manager draws a sketch of the future product by hand on a white sheet of paper.
To me, it doesn't seem modern or accurate. In subsequent stages, this often leads to errors.
But for a manager, this approach is quick and simple.
I tried to find a solution. To do this, I developed the Nastix Design application (https://nastix-design.com/) where there is a minimum of design, and the main task is to fold the product details like a puzzle and choose a fabric.
Since the application is free and browser-based, it is available to everyone without any additional installations.
The set of parts and templates that I uploaded to the applications may only partially coincide with the assortment of the enterprise. So I added a new feature. Its essence is that you can prepare an archive with your own templates. And then upload it to the application while working with it. And then you can assemble the product both from my default parts and your own.
At the same time, I did not give the opportunity to save them in the application, so as not to take responsibility for the safety of storing other people's designs. This is less convenient for the client, but he can be calm that his ideas will not be stolen.
But the target audience is not only sales managers of garment factories.
I realized that the site is convenient in the educational process.
Teachers often have to show mock-ups of products. Of course, this can be done using pre-prepared pictures. But with the help of my application, he is free to change the look of the product - add a pocket, change the fabric, and so on. The same can be achieved with the help of respected graphic editors, but there such operations will take much more time.
