What is NASDrop?

NASDrop is a free and open-source download portal for Synology NAS. Paste a share link from a supported file-hosting service and the NAS downloads the file itself — no need to download to a PC first and copy it over. Supported providers include GigaFile, GoFile, Pixeldrain, 1fichier and Buzzheavier. It has a download queue with pause/resume, per-job download folders and extraction passwords, and automatic extraction including split archives — if a volume is missing, the job waits for it instead of failing. A Chrome companion extension covers providers that require a real browser interaction to start a download. NASDrop runs as a native Synology package (SPK for DSM 7.1/7.2, x86_64) or in Docker. It does not bypass CAPTCHAs, wait times or provider rate limits. The UI is available in English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.
