In an era dominated by blockbuster superhero franchises, indie comics and games have emerged as a bastion of creativity and expressive freedom.

Independent works, often referred to as "indie" are publications produced outside the major comic book publishers like Marvel, DC, Manga, Manhwa and many others.

These narratives are crafted by individual creators or small teams who retain full control over their work, from storytelling to artwork.

MIL was developed to offer indie art creators a user-friendly tool to create and manage portfolios based on the work's characters, in other words: using one's characters as a mirror to their comic/game/art.
