There are nine alternatives to MultiMarkdown for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Mac, Windows, Online / Web-based and Self-Hosted solutions. The best alternative is Markdown, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like MultiMarkdown are pandoc (Free, Open Source), Inkdrop (Paid), Asciidoctor (Free, Open Source) and MWeb (Paid).
