What is MPX (by wms.Studio)?

MPX is warehouse control and management software for vertical lift modules (VLMs). It provides a browser-based operator interface for tasks including picking, put-away and goods receiving, and can control individual machines or groups of machines. The site states that it supports VLMs from Kardex, Hänel, Modula, Weland, Logimat and Megamat, alongside racking locations.

The software also covers warehouse workflows such as batch picking, put-to-light, inventory management and location management. It can be deployed on site or through an optional cloud SaaS platform. For host-system integration, wms.Studio documents CSV exchange, a RESTful JSON API, a legacy SOAP API, and direct SQL Server-based integration options.

MPX is also presented as a platform for connecting related warehouse equipment, including conveyors, smart lockers and automated guided vehicles. An iPad application is described for rack-location inventory operations, including receiving, counting, picking and putting.
