Good points Easy and quick to record something VU meter is obvious and clear Uses standard Lame.exe for encoding so you can easily update it your self. You can set your preferred edit tool when you first click on the edit icon.
Negative points The interface uses too much space. Missing main MP3 bitrates including 192k and 224k No VBR option, which could save up to 50% of the file size. The author has not bothered to update the MP3 engine when releasing updates, so the current version 4.2 still uses Lame 39.6.1 (nearly 10 years old). Once you have set an external editor, you cannot change it.
