Bricolas thinks Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X is an alternative to Mounty for NTFS
Did exactly what I needed for trying to copy files from Mac OS to Bootcamp Windows 10. Why this had to be such a chew in the first place, who knows! This was super quick and easy. Cheers Mounty-dev!
Pretty logo. At first, it seemed to work. Then large transfers stopped, moves deleted the original but failed creating them at the destination Also the destination NTFS drive got corrupted.
So I lost my data, and I need to reformat my NTFS drive. That's not working.
Pretty logo, though. Paramount has a fee but works well. I recommend reliability. Maybe Mounty works fine for small transfers. If you chose to you mounty, then:
Lately I've been facing issues with Paragon too. Do you think all this has something to do with the recent changes to APFS?

This program won't bother Bootcamp partition (if present) if Mounty gets installed or uninstalled, unlike Paragon NTFS.
I had an NTFS-formatted external storage. Files that are added through Mounty, after I eject the drive even from Mounty bar icon, will become inaccessible by MacOS -- they will be grayed out. When you try to open one of them, it will say "{File} is used by macOS and can't be opened" and I have to do SetFile -c "" -t "" /{Path}/{to}/{File}.{ext} on Terminal. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=macos+file+is+in+use+by+macos+and+cannot+be+opened&t=ffab&ia=web
Windows, however, can open the files without problem.
Simple menu bar minimalistic application. In my case I found it useless though.. If it fails to mount the drive feedback lacks any details to diagnose why it failed.
Easily install with Homebrew
