What is MirrorLane?
MirrorLane is a travel preparation app designed for licensed drivers switching from left-side to right-side driving, or vice versa. It highlights situations where familiar driving habits might cause confusion. These include turning at quiet junctions, pulling out from car parks and driveways, joining empty roads, navigating roundabouts, and remembering which way to look first.
HOW IT WORKS
To use MirrorLane, simply input where you normally drive and your travel destination. The exercises will then automatically adjust to your switch, whether from left-side to right-side driving or vice versa. You may set your trip date and follow short daily practice sessions, or use the Airport Cram feature for a condensed refresher before travelling.
WHAT YOU'LL PRACTISE
The app focuses on various aspects of driving. You'll practice which way to look first, which lane to finish a turn in, pulling out from car parks and driveways, joining empty roads, navigating roundabouts flowing in the opposite direction, and familiarising yourself with a mirrored driving environment.

MirrorLane is specifically designed for licensed drivers preparing to drive abroad. It is not a driving school or simulator.

The initial sessions are free, followed by a one-time purchase to unlock the full program. There is no subscription, email requirement, or personal data collection. The app is ad-free.
MirrorLane is a lightweight 2.1 MB download and works offline, including during a flight or when travelling with limited mobile data.
