So, If I talk about Mind, then for our organization it has really been the game changer for us. We are a company of more than 500 employees. We faced a lot of challenges while bringing the people of our company together during the initial days of the pandemic. The best thing about Mind is the user-friendly interface of the calls. Some great features which our employees liked about the application are :

  1. The ability to share multiple screens at the same time, upto 12 screens can be shared simultaneously which makes it easier for us to conduct presentations and take interviews as well.
  2. The administrator privileges provided to the host by Mind in any of the meetings/conferences. The host has the right to check who’s entering the meeting and can even ask for a proper validation from the user's end.

The Mind application can be easily opened from any of the devices like iPad, mobile phones and desktop PCs as well. You just need to go to the browser and launch the meeting from there. We’d like to rate Mind meetings 4.6 out of 5. There is still scope of improvement, but the majority of the features work great!

Mind is one of the most favorite video conferencing applications that our company has used till today. We are a digital marketing company with over 1000 employees. Our experience with Mind was great. It’s connectivity, responsiveness, stability, clarity and the features all of them are upto are expectations. We faced a lot of challenges while we were relying on the GoTo meetings for our daily conference calls. It used to lag a lot and multiple screen share was another problem there. We recommended Mind to our client companies as well as this is a great platform for proper communication and hassle free conferences.

Mind made it possible for us to meet with others safely and quickly. We’re a reputed university and due to the pandemic we shifted out teaching methodology from offline to online mode. We’ve shifted from Google Meet as Mind’s interface is more friendly and user oriented. We are currently using it to have our online classes, meetings amongst the employees as well as making rooms for students for their projects. There were many students who were struggling to use Zoom and Google Meet due to the requirement of high bandwidth, but that’s not the case with Mind. It automatically adjusts according to the bandwidth available. When we’ve to work from home due to the increase in the Covid cases, Mind allowed us to meet and discuss everything as usual and it has been a great experience for all our employees and students both at campus and home. We’re able to see the presentations, live sessions and everything without any lag, break or technical error. It has been really flexible and helped us to fight with the work from home struggle due to the Pandemic. Mind not only helped us to connect with our students or internally within employees. It also allowed us to conduct online employee interviews with great experience. Pros : The best part about our meetings was the quality of the call. Whether it was an audio call or an audio+video call. It has been a relentless experience in HD from both mobile phones as well as laptops/desktops.

Being a host it gave me the access to know who all are joining the meeting simultaneously as well as ensuring proper usage of the software. Mind allows the host to ask for the photograph of the person who’s joining the call to ensure authenticity.

Another great feature which made our university go for Mind is the feature to host the meeting from our own website. This has seriously helped us for proper and efficient E-Learning experience.

Whenever we have the presentations or the collective group viva(s) of the students then Mind allows us to share multiple screens at the same time which makes it easier to ensure that no one is cheating or refering to any notes during the examination. Cons : The only concern that we had was related to the pricing, as compared to other platforms which are available right now in the market, Mind is a bit expensive for our pocket. Another thing which many students complained about was the noise or the disturbance which comes sometimes when we switch on the video and apply any backgrounds/blurs, not sure whether it’s because of the network issues or something else but in further updates maybe it’ll be better. Our overall experience of Mind was pretty good, though there are a few minor changes/modifications that will definitely improve the user experience. We would like to rate mind 4.5/5 as it marked all of our expectations and solved the majority of the problems that we were facing on the other platforms.

What is iMind?

iMind allows its users to set up video conferences with up to 200 speakers (video+audio) or up to 1000 speakers (audio). iMind’s unique option of customization video quality is perfectly tailored for launching conferences during the periods of network overload.

Meanwhile, iMind goes far beyond being yet another good video conferencing application. It implemented a variety of instruments for workspace organization. For instance, iMind released an opportunity for sharing the boards that allows all participants to edit them together during meetings and brainstorms.

iMind has its own file storage, so, all files required for your business will be always at your fingertips. To reach every employee in a couple of clicks, iMind implemented the Contacts module. With its Timetable instrument, the workflow of the team can be easily organized: imagine having Trello and Slack integrated in Zoom.
