What is Metrisim?

Who is this for? Marketing researchers who want to increase productivity. Analysts who design and fit metric conjoint analysis models using statistical software, but find the final simulator build laborious. Metrisim is especially suited to users of the R conjoint library who want an easier and more sophisticated conjoint analysis simulator. Many consultants use Excel, but this oftens takes days to setup post survey and extensive knowledge of conjoint analysis at a statistical level. Academics and students who use R conjoint and don't want a full suite, but do require a more sophisticated simulator.

Key features: Sample / volume weighting Capable of using a sample weight or a combined sample / volume weight that you provide.
External effects Two approaches are offered to model external effects. 1.) Calibration weights are calculated automatically based on target (actual) market shares you provide for the baseline scenario. Alternatively provide your own weighting factors. 2.) Relevant set indicators.
None estimation Traditionally metric conjoint analysis simulators are not able to estimate a none percentage. Metrisim's new approach enables the estimation of none percentage in simulations.
Decision Rules Currently Max Util and BTL. Other decision rules to be added in the near future.
Interpolation The price partworths are interpolated during simulations to estimate partworths for the prices ‘inbetween’ the tested price levels.
Price simulator Metrisim offers a price simulation module to make price simulations more convenient.
