Meriz

Meriz is a free, open-source tool for database design using the Merise method. It’s a modern alternative to AnalyseSI, built to learn, teach, and design a database.

You draw the conceptual model (the MCD). Meriz checks it, then generates the logical model (MLD), the physical model (MPD), the SQL script, and even Laravel and Symfony code. It runs in the browser or as an installed app on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

With an account, you can also work together in real time on the same schema, create study groups, and use classes, courses, and assignments to teach.
