It's like procreate for android
I like MediBang Paint because I can sketch and paint freely
not to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately... medibang supports nfts. I'm not making this up. https://medibang.com/contest/bosotokyo/
It’s an amazing app! The fact that it’s free and gives you so many options and it’s easy to work with makes it even better!
I'm currently using Medibang Paint to make my webcomics and it has vastly improved my digital art experience. There are many tools that a manga artist would find useful and any tools that Medibang lacks in regards to animation or 3D modeling can be found in other programs.
What makes Medibang different from something like Firealpaca is the group cloud feature. I can work with my collaborators directly through the program so there isn't a need to share files. I can also watch to see what my fellow collaborators have been up to, which is cool.
The web app is completely free, though there is an ad when you open the program (which isn't too different from something like FireAlpaca). The mobile version has more little ads, but you can pay to remove them (and get some other added features such as multi-layer management) for $6.49. It has been one of the most useful in app purchases for me, as I tend to use the mobile app when I'm on the go or can't reach my computer. The only thing is that I wish that the in-app purchase would sync across all devices- even if I'm logged onto my account on all of my mobile devices, I can only access the premium version of the app on the device it had been purchased on.
I can't give Medibang Paint enough praise...I could ramble on about it all night if I wanted. Definitely a great program for someone wanting to get into webcomics/manga or upgrading from a basic art program.
i make logo's, banners and art with this program and i love it
Cloudalpaca is now very similar to Firealpaca, with the latters latest update (1.3.0) that added panel-editing tools as well, but CA is still very powerful as a tool for any kind of manga-making. Personally I really enjoy the pattern/tone tools given and because these are also available as downloads through the application itself, it's possible to use CA for almost any kind of comic. I also like the organizing tools (accessible via login through the Medibang site) for pages and projects, despite the language barrier.
