What is MediaOrganizer Studio?
MediaOrganizer Studio is a deterministic media restructuring tool for macOS. It is not a photo catalog or DAM replacement. Instead, it prepares large photo and video collections before they are ingested into systems like Lightroom, Apple Photos or digiKam. Rather than managing files inside a database, MediaOrganizer Studio rebuilds a predictable, file-level folder structure directly from metadata: • EXIF-based identity (including subsecond timestamps) • Optional GPS-based organization • Non-destructive duplicate isolation (no automatic deletions) • Manual contextual recovery for files without GPS • Fully local processing — no cloud, no background indexing The result is a reproducible archive that remains understandable even outside proprietary catalog software.
