What is Maybe App?

Maybe is a private coach for OCD, sticky thoughts and endless checking.

Short lessons show you why a thought sticks, why answering it keeps it alive, and how facing things on purpose loosens the grip. Your first practice ladder comes out of your own answers, proposed as a card you accept or decline. And a chat backs you up in the middle of a wave, at whatever hour that is. It will not give you the answer, however many times you ask, and it holds you to the limits you set when you were calm.

Everything you write is sealed on your device before it is sent. Nobody can read it, us included.

The practice comes from NICE CG31, the guidance the NHS treats this from, and the International OCD Foundation. Every claim in a lesson carries its source, and the clinical guidance is free to read whether or not you ever pay.

Seven days free with a card up front, then US$19 a month or US$149 a year. It runs in the browser and installs to your phone's home screen; there is nothing in the app stores.

Maybe is not therapy, not a diagnosis and not a crisis service. It has no outcome data and no independent clinical review yet, and the evidence page says so.
